- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and ginger powder. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and sriracha (if using). Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the cooked brown rice. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and green onions.
