A comforting Amish-style hamburger steak bake. It’s easy to make and perfect for a family dinner.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 cups cooked egg noodles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and green pepper. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, water, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked egg noodles to the meat mixture.
- Pour into a baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of chicken soup.
- Add cheese on top for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side salad.
