A comforting Amish-style hamburger steak bake. It’s easy to make and perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and green pepper. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, water, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked egg noodles to the meat mixture.
  6. Pour into a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through.
