Description

These baked cranberry brie bites are a simple and delicious holiday appetizer. With only 5 ingredients, they come together quickly for any festive gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 12 equal squares.
  3. Press each puff pastry square into a mini muffin tin, forming a cup.
  4. Place one cube of brie cheese into each pastry cup.
  5. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the brie in each cup.
  6. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg wash.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary, if using.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the brie is melted.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter bite, use whole berry cranberry sauce.
  • If you don’t have a mini muffin tin, you can cut the puff pastry into smaller squares and bake them on a baking sheet.
