Ingredients
- Gnocchi: 1 pound
- Heavy Cream: 1 cup
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Mozzarella Cheese: 2 cups, shredded
- Parmesan Cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Butter: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: To taste
- Pepper: To taste
- Italian Seasoning: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook gnocchi according to package directions. Drain.
- Melt butter in a pan. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk. Simmer.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce.
- Pour half of the gnocchi mixture into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Top with the remaining gnocchi mixture.
- Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Use fresh mozzarella for best results.
