- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place cubed sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
- Return the sweet potatoes to the pot. Add the softened butter, honey, milk or cream, salt, and pepper.
- Mash the sweet potatoes with a potato masher or use an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot.
