- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/2 cup caramel topping, plus more for drizzling
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a small oven-safe skillet (about 8-10 inches).
- Dollop the caramel topping over the apple mixture.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans, if using.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and bubbly around the edges.
- Drizzle with additional caramel topping before serving.
- Serve warm with your favorite dippers.
Notes
- You can use any type of apple you prefer, such as Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji.
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
