Description

These cheesy bacon tater tot cups are a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for game day or any party. They are easy to make and incredibly delicious.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Press about 1 tablespoon of tater tots into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a shell.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crispy.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, sour cream, and chives. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Spoon the cheese and bacon mixture into the baked tater tot cups.
  7. Return the muffin tin to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
