- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in uncooked rice, beef broth, and diced tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour mixture into a baking dish.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove cover, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
