Description

Make delicious Chinese Beef and Broccoli at home. This one-pan recipe is easy and tastes better than takeout.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Slice beef thinly.
  2. Cut broccoli into florets.
  3. Whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, beef broth, brown sugar, and rice vinegar.
  4. Add beef and broccoli to a pan.
  5. Pour sauce over beef and broccoli.
  6. Cook until beef is browned and broccoli is tender.
  7. Serve over rice.

Notes

  • Adjust sauce sweetness to your taste.
  • Use flank steak if you prefer.
