Description
Make delicious Chinese Beef and Broccoli at home. This one-pan recipe is easy and tastes better than takeout.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine beef with cornstarch.
- Whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned.
- Add broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour sauce over beef and broccoli.
- Cook until sauce thickens and broccoli is tender.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your taste.
- Serve over rice for a complete meal.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar.
