Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook chicken until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add onion and broccoli to the skillet; cook until tender.
  5. Stir in garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add chicken back to the skillet.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  10. Season to taste and serve.

  • You can substitute other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
