- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 ounces pasta (rotini or penne recommended)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add kielbasa and cook until browned.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- You can substitute the kielbasa with other sausage.
- Adjust the amount of heavy cream to your liking.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
