- 1 pound Italian sausage, removed from casings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 ounces fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet. Drain any excess grease.
- Add olive oil, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
- Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
