Ingredients
- Chicken breasts (2)
- Olive oil (1 tbsp)
- Onion (1, chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Canned crushed tomatoes (1 (28 ounce) can)
- Heavy cream (1/2 cup)
- Italian seasoning (1 tsp)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet.
- Cook chicken until browned.
- Remove chicken and sauté onion until softened.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning.
- Return chicken to skillet.
- Simmer until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in heavy cream.
- Garnish with basil.
