Make these delicious strawberry cream cheese heart danishes for a delightful Valentine’s Day dessert. They are perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll pie crusts and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. Place heart cutouts on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon cream cheese mixture onto half of the heart cutouts.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries.
  7. Place another heart cutout on top of the cream cheese and strawberry.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
