Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Place bread cubes in the baking dish.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread. Make sure all bread is soaked.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
