Description
A simple and delicious chili recipe made in a Crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onions
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any grease.
- Add beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the Crockpot.
- Stir in kidney beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.
- For a thicker chili, you can mash some of the beans.
- Adjust seasonings to your taste.
