Simple and delicious honey garlic chicken thighs cooked in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs: 6-8
- Honey: 1/2 cup
- Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
- Optional: Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken thighs.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
- Serve and enjoy your meal!
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, you can remove the chicken and thicken the sauce with cornstarch.
- You can use boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
