- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Let it sit.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Layer pound cake cubes, strawberry mixture, and cream cheese mixture in mason jars or dessert cups.
- Repeat layers.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use store-bought whipped cream to save time.
- Feel free to add a splash of lemon juice to the strawberries.
- Garnish with extra strawberries or whipped cream.
