Description
A festive and easy no-bake treat combining the classic crunch of Rice Krispie treats with the warm spices of gingerbread.
Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz, about 40) marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat. Stir in ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
- Press the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a touch of molasses.
- Decorate with icing and sprinkles for a festive look.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
