Description
Classic hamburger steak with rich onion gravy.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook patties until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add sliced onions to the skillet. Cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic, then sprinkle with flour. Cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth. Add Worcestershire sauce.
- Return patties to the skillet. Simmer until gravy thickens.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
- For a thicker gravy, add more flour.
