Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 3 cups milk

  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  3. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5 minutes.

  5. Add cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine. Serve immediately.
