Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sliced green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until sauce thickens.
- Serve over cooked rice.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- You can add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
- Leftovers are great for lunch the next day.
