Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add onion and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until sauce thickens.
  5. Serve over cooked rice.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

  • Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
