Description

Enjoy a classic Philly cheesesteak flavor in a convenient, low-carb roll. This recipe is quick to make and perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Low-carb slider buns or lettuce wraps

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the thinly sliced beef over medium-high heat until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet. Stir in the cream cheese, provolone cheese, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Cook, stirring, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Spoon the cheesesteak mixture into your low-carb slider buns or wrap in lettuce leaves.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add mushrooms to the vegetables.
  • Adjust seasoning to your preference.
  • Ensure beef is sliced very thin for best results.
