- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional toppings: cooked vegetables, fresh basil
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until fully cooked.
- Add marinara sauce to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream (if using) and Parmesan cheese.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.
- Divide pasta and chicken mixture into bowls.
- Add your desired toppings.
- Let it cool before you store in the fridge.

- You can substitute the chicken with other protein like ground turkey or sausage.
