Description

This recipe makes delicious and moist chocolate chip banana bread.


Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk baking soda, salt, and flour.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
  • You can substitute chocolate chunks for chocolate chips.
