- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (14.1 ounce) can refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet. Drain any grease.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Stir in ketchup and mustard.
- Unroll one pie crust in the skillet.
- Sprinkle with half the cheese.
- Top with beef mixture.
- Cover with the second pie crust. Crimp edges to seal.
- Cut slits in the top crust.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake until melted.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite burger toppings like pickles and tomatoes.
- For a spicier pie, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
