Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 cups shredded cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  5. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Add pasta and stir.
  8. Cover the skillet and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove the lid, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
