Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Brown sausage in a skillet. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add olive oil, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in beans, tomatoes, broth, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Return sausage to the skillet.
  5. Simmer until heated through.
  6. Garnish with parsley.
