Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Stir in oats.
  5. Press half of mixture into a 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Mix brown sugar and baking soda. Sprinkle over crust.
  7. Spread cherry pie filling.
  8. Top with remaining oat mixture.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  10. Let cool completely before cutting.

Notes

  • You can use different pie fillings.
  • For a vegan version, use vegan butter.
